Manoj's Story:
Some of the most profound journeys begin with a personal struggle.
Born and raised in Singapore before making Australia home, Manoj's path into Ayurveda didn't start in a classroom - it started with a personal health journey that modern medicine and lifestyle advice simply couldn't answer.
Despite trying everything conventional medicine and lifestyle advice had to offer, nothing seemed to work. The answers he needed simply weren't there. It was during visits back to his family in India that he encountered something different — ancient Ayurvedic traditions that had been woven into daily life for thousands of years. The impact was profound. Not just physically, but spiritually. For the first time, Manoj felt understood by his own body.
That experience changed everything.
Driven by a desire to understand Ayurveda deeply — not just experience it — Manoj spent years studying under highly qualified practitioners across India and Australia, learning to bridge the wisdom of ancient Ayurvedic texts with the rigour of modern nutrition science. He became accredited through Australia's leading complementary medicine bodies, and Ayur Alive was born from a simple but deeply felt mission: to share this ancient practice in a way that is accessible, credible, and genuinely transformative for people living modern lives.
Manoj believes that health is not a destination — it's a deeply personal, evolving journey that encompasses both mind and body. And he believes that every individual deserves to walk that journey at their own pace, with the right support behind them.
When you work with Ayur Alive, you're not just following a program. You're beginning your own awakening.
Manoj's approach — what sets him apart
Manoj doesn't offer generic advice or one-size-fits-all solutions. Every person who comes to Ayur Alive receives guidance that is built entirely around their unique body, history, and goals.
His approach is grounded in three principles:
Authenticity — Guidance rooted in traditional Ayurvedic texts (samhitas) combined with evidence-informed modern nutrition science, not trends or shortcuts.
Collaboration — Where a client's health needs require it, Manoj strongly advocates working alongside an Australian accredited Medical Doctor or equivalent. Ayurveda works best as a complement to — not a replacement for — conventional medical care.
Sustainability — Real, lasting change doesn't happen overnight. Manoj works with clients to build realistic, long-term strategies that fit their life — not the other way around.
Three-Phase Transformation Approach
Phase One: Nidana (Understanding Root Factors)
Before anything else, Manoj takes the time to truly understand what's going on in your body. Using traditional Ayurvedic examination (trividha pariksha) combined with structured questionnaires, he assesses your Dosha patterns, digestive capacity (agni), and toxin accumulation (ama) — building a clear picture of the underlying factors influencing your health.
Phase Two: Pathya (Your Personalised Healing Blueprint)
Based on your assessment, you receive a completely personalised plan — covering nutrition (ahara), lifestyle (vihara), daily routines (dinacharya), and cooking guidance — designed specifically for your body type and health goals. This is not a template. It is built for you.
Phase Three: Chikitsa (Guided Implementation and Support)
A plan is only as good as its execution. In this phase, you apply your personalised recommendations — supported by the Ayur Alive mobile app, and with the option to access ongoing 1-on-1 consultations with Manoj to ensure you stay on track and achieve lasting results.
